Kids’ Expo on the Western Slope

Kids’ Expo Registration Form
Kids’ Expo is a free annual event in May for children and families at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. Families enjoy hands-on activities and children’s performances. It is a great opportunity to spend a fun day with the family and learn about community resources. Day of the Young Child in South Lake Tahoe
Day of the Young Child is a free annual event in for children and families in South Lake Tahoe where families enjoy hands-on activities. It is a great opportunity to spend a fun day with the family and learn about community resources. This event is supported by local sponsors and community donations. Community Gift Tree on the Western Slope
This annual event in November is a collaboration between organizations in the community that serve low-income families and local businesses. Choices for Children, the El Dorado County Office of Education, Happy Kids Preschool, CASA, and Alta Regional all select their neediest families to participate in the program. Gift cards that identify the needs and wishes of children are placed on trees throughout the community. Community members then select one or more cards, purchase gifts, and drop them off at convenient locations. Cash donations are accepted throughout the year.
